Coaching
Coaching focuses on a different LFC player each day, giving them a true insight into what it takes to be a great player for the club. Innovative training sessions are tailored to age and ability level with a focus on individual and group drills, small-sided games, skills challenges, and a weekly tournament.
Each player gets a one-to-one feedback session with their coach at the end of each week along with an individual report and certificate to take home. Players gain a better understanding of their game, whilst developing independence and self-confidence within an international football environment.
Camp Options:
Choose from two camp options, available on all camps. Football Focus includes 8 hours of workshops with LFC coaches alongside training. Football + English includes 13 hours of English language lessons with professional teachers, alongside coaching.
-
Coaching workshops take place throughout the week and include sessions on match and player analysis. Looking at what it takes to excel in different positions and match situations, players compare attributes of Liverpool first team players. Coaches offer players an insight into the value of not just physical and technical skill level but also mental strength, psychological and social attributes alongside tactical and decision-making skills.
-
Our English curriculum is backed by years of research and experience in effective short-course learning. Professional English teachers working in small classes use the subject of football to inspire and motivate young learners to improve through active participation and group project work. With 24/7 immersion in the English language during their stay, students' learning is accelerated, building confidence and understanding in spoken English as well as reading and writing skills. Students meet their teacher one-to-one at the end of the camp and receive a report and certificate to take home.
